Q: Where can I find Steve’s music?  Are his CDs in record stores?
A: What’s a record store?  Just kidding, sorry.  My physical CDs are available at live shows.  I’m always happy to sign them if you want to decrease the value.  Almost all the music I have for sale is available in digital download stores for 99 cents per song.  This includes iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, Amazon, and just about anywhere else you can download music.

Q: I am too cheap to pay 99 cents per song that I like, so I steal music instead.  Am I a bad person?
A: Of course not.  But you probably won’t go to heaven.  Kidding. But really, I love music too.  But stealing music is no different than stealing a car.  It’s just easier to get away with.  I encourage you to use one of the many great (free) software downloads like iTunes that lets you manage your whole media catalogue and purchase music and videos for a very small price. 

Q: Is it true that Steve does not read music?
A: I get lots of requests for sheet music for both my originals and covers.  I never took a piano or voice lesson in my life.  I never learned to read or write it.  I just play it.  Some call me a talent but the more appropriate word is “hack”.  Sorry I can’t get you sheet music.  Maybe I’ll take lessons one day…

Q: Why isn’t Steve on a record label / American Idol?
A: I am fortunate enough to have a growing base of fans around the globe who continue to purchase and spread the word about my music.  My goal is to continue to sell more downloads of music, and perform at more “high impact” events where the positive (or funny) message in the music inspires people the way I’ve been inspired.  At this time, major record labels do not seem an appropriate part of that strategy. 

Q: How can I spread the word about Steve’s music?

1) Encourage friends, family, coworkers, ex-girlfriends, and enemies to check out my music on iTunes, Rhapsody, etc.
2) Connect with me on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube

You can feel free to play the music at your yoga class, office party, Zac Efron Fan Club meeting, backyard BBQ, or in the shower.  If people like the music and ask who it is, you give them a “Steve Acho” card.  (If they don’t like the music tell them it’s “Boy George”)
