Gratitude Hack

I'm admittedly and embarrassingly someone who impulse-buys products on social media. Then proceed to forget and never use them. Worse, months later I'll see an ad for the exact same thing and think, "Ooh, I should buy that!"
It got me thinking. I bought it because I wanted the outcome it promised. So now, instead of buying something new, I go back, read the sales page, skim the glowing reviews, and get excited enough to actually use what I already own.
It's a surprisingly effective gratitude hack. Sometimes the best "new" purchase is the one you've already made.
