How to make sure you’re heard

State the other person’s view using your own words, but in a way in which they would completely agree.

Simple recipe.  Difficult to follow – especially in the midst of disagreement.  Worth the effort if you find yourself in conflict with someone. And if you interact with human beings, you will.
