The Strongest Force in the Human Personality

The most potent force in the human personality is the need to be consistent with who we think we are.


Eventually, we lock in with an identity and say, 'This is who I am,' 'People like me do things like this.' When exactly did you decide this? Is it still serving you and those you love?


It's helpful to reevaluate this, consider raising your standards, and establish habits and rituals that are consistent with it.
