Venture Capitalist Marc Andreessen predicts a simple divide in the future: those who direct computers, and those directed by them.

Soon, saying your company uses A.I. will sound like saying it uses electricity. It will just be assumed.

Whether A.I. excites you or concerns you, it’s not going anywhere. Start using it. Experiment. Apply it, be creative, find ways to use it to improve your life now.

When you ask yourself unhelpful questions like, “Why do bad things always happen to me?” your mind will answer (“Because I’m unlucky").

Your subconscious immediately goes to work on the answer.

But does the question itself serve you?

In tough moments, ask better questions:

“What’s great about this?”

“What did I learn?”

Even before answers come, the shift is powerful.

We often point to external circumstances to justify how we feel, react and behave.

Twin boys with identical DNA and upbringing are forced to deal with their abusive alcoholic father. One brother becomes a poorly behaved alcoholic adult, and the other a generous, respected man.

Both point to the same reason for why they turned out the way they did:

"I watched my father."

We can't control much of what happens to us. How we choose to view what happened, and what we do as a result is under our control. Perspective is everything.
