Most of your day at Disney World was likely spent waiting in line. A party could have awkward lulls. Workdays blur together. But when we reflect on these experiences, our memories don’t tally every moment—they highlight just a few peak ones.

Our brains are wired to judge entire experiences based on short bursts of joy, insight, or connection. When you learn to recognize the power of these moments—laughter, an aha moment, a supportive, affectionate moment with a loved one- you’ll understand why they’re worth chasing.

A few seconds of magic can redefine the whole story.

It's easy to hide behind theoretical values. "If I had a million dollars I'd donate a portion."

Sounds nice. But you have more leverage, power, and influence than you think, even without abundant resources. You don't need to wait for anything else to happen.

Practice by helping the very next human you come in contact with who could use your help.

The "As Soon As" syndrome keeps you stuck, making your next move—or worse, your happiness—dependent on something outside your control.

But here’s the truth: there’s never a perfect time to do anything worthwhile.

Every second, you have the power to choose your actions and your motivation. Don’t give that power away to circumstances or people you can’t control.

You are the CEO of your life. Be a good one.
